About Me
KEVIN SANDERS

As an animal lover all my life, I’ve had many pets and felt a special connection to each of them. I have learned that most pets can be trained to fit your lifestyle.
First, it’s important to ask yourself: What do I really want and need from this owner-pet relationship? For example, with dogs, do you want a guard dog? Or a fluffy little toy-like creature that looks like a stuffed animal hanging from your shoulder bag?
Different breeds and species are good at different things. It is important to choose carefully or, at least, be realistic about what your existing pet can and can’t be trained to do.
You may not want a dog at all. Did you know that pigs are smarter than both dogs and cats? And they solve problems faster than most primates! Another fun fact is that cows kill more people each year than sharks.
As a trained expert in animal behavior, I went to Animal Behavior College to get my Certification for Grooming and Dog Training. I may not be able to train a cow or a shark not to kill you. But I can train any of the animals I interact with daily, including dogs, cats, chickens,
Koi fish, turtles [Kevin, any reptiles or snakes?]—and 3 boys under age 15. (I’ve had a little less luck with that last category.)
Please check out my Contact Me page. Let’s set up a time to discuss your wants and needs. The initial consultation is free of charge, and training sessions are at competitive rates.
Remember: It’s never too late to improve your pet’s behavior, but the sooner you act, the more you can improve. I look forward to talking to you soon.
